Wow, I haven't thought about Idolm@ster in forever. I remember really enjoying the anime back in the day. Dunno if it holds up.
I played a route in Idolm@ster SP around that time but the translation left something to be desired. Still made it through. Maybe I should play another one, I think they're actually fully translated now.
