He is a bit of a messy shitshow in that, much like ulcerated tree spirit, he's constantly flailing around and when you're first learning him it's hard to tell when he's attacking and when he's just spazzing out.
Combine that with attacks that make players panic and you can see how he can be challenging to learn.
Once you figure him out he's pretty straightforward though.
