There are (or were as of a few months ago) troves you can find through the Share Thread for map assets. Toss some of those together in GIMP or another editor, do some tweaking in your VTT of choice (assuming you aren't constantly printing maps for table play), and you are good to go. You can also do like >>95886042 suggests and just raid the big servers for the assets they kindly share, same with Reddit and the odd Patreon account that shares free maps on the regular.
