Me included, but all the Beretta fans I’ve seen hate the GTS and other frame lever models. It’s them catering to people who don’t like Beretta 92s, the slide safety/decocker (ultimately decocker only) is superior to the frame mounted one. On a DA/SA you don’t need a safety or the ability to decock without breaking the firing grip. There’s no tactical need to ever decock without breaking grip. I don’t like the lever position since it makes my grip weird, it’s in the way of my thumb. I could probably get used to it.
If any frame safety model, I’d get the 92Xi SAO.
The 92X RDO or the LTT Elite 92 (from PSA, just a base gun no LTT trigger job) is what I would get. The LTT 92 is 700 dollars from PSA, has aftermarket thin grips (great), and a stainless barrel paired with the classic M9A1 frame. It’s the ultimate 92 in my opinion, except missing the Langdon trigger job.
It’s the base gun from the factory that Langdon receives to customize, so that’s why it’s missing the Langdon work.
