jeetEO's will do that, slash quality and drive up prices to increase short term profits.
it looks good to shareholders but collapses customer confidence. then they jump ship just as it begins to fall apart. they have no concept of growing/improving a business, just cut n run.
saw it happen myself, in manufacturing, here in DE- prices went up way beyond competitors simply because 'fuck you', customers said 'fuck this' went to competitors, the jeetEO is long gone and customers aren't returning, they moved on.
