I wish there was some sort of safety net that made it harder to accidentally lose recruits trying to tire enemies by lowering their HP, like a weapon you can equip or something. It would really help add depth and variation to gameplay to have other ways to spare enemies besides mindlessly repeating Acts, but giving it the risk of permanently losing a recruit every single time you try it is basically the game signalling to you, "HEY, MAYBE NEVER USE THIS OPTION."
