Nah nigga. I'm losing access to a ton of places I visit online because a teenager killed themselves a few years back, thanks to social media.
It's a simple and convenient excuse for my government to clamp down and exert greater control on social media and online spaces because they despise free speech and not being able to monitor everyone. That's all the UK government really wants out of this.
They don't give a shit about anything else impacting teenagers, like how public schools are falling apart, knife crime is going up, or drug dealers offering teens loons.
I won't disagree that it's tough to raise a child in the digital age. I disagree that paving over people's rights and attempting to enforce overly broad regulations is the correct approach to the problem.
