Pic related is the best in this regard, according to my tests playing Tetris Grandmaster 4 as fast as possible, but it's a very uncomfortable dpad to use. Note that this model is the oldest one. Hori makes newer models for Nintendo Switch where the dpad is not detachable, and I don't know how good they are. But overall, the dpads on Hori controllers work correctly, with minimal diagonal errors, but I've heard people complaining about the PS4 Hori Fighting Commander having this problem, so not all Hori controllers are free of it, even though their dpads are better than all others available on the market at the moment.
