They are Australian pies NOT British pies.
British pies such as steak and kidney, steak and ale or mince and onion contain NO vegetables.
Even the cheap and humble, supermarket bought Pukka pies contain none of the above.
Australian pies do, they are also very fatty and full of gristle.
