All typical in JRPGs before 2020, especially lower-budget ones. Tales of has/had all of these and it's one of the most mainstream JRPG series. You know what's not typical in JRPGs? Rubbing/touching minigames. Clothing damage. Explicitly moe art styles. School settings. Subcultural humor and in-jokes (e.g., Neptunia). All-female casts. Dating sim mechanics can go either way, but they're far more common in more overtly otaku-oriented JRPGs. I'm not bashing Falcom here, they're one of the few devs I still keep tabs on, but they're not a replacement for the kinds of games GUST, Compile Heart, and Imageepoch used to give us.
