I really do regret starting with tau but on the bright side it taught me how to play with more unconventional strategies and factions. I don't get how imperial guard players keep saying "The IG is the closest to humanity and is the most relatable" whe the tau empire are right there doing pretty reasonable and realistic imperialism. Their whole plight is being rational in a irrational world but also being major silver tongued lying assholes who think they are better than everyone else for it. I love their lore and the way they are characterized but I couldn't see myself painting tau without an airbrush.
