The two things that initially drew me to South Park was how
>It didn't have generic good guy protagonists. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were all petty assholes who learn the wrong lessons.
>One of the few pieces of media that portrays how rude and crass kids are. Felt like a fever dream version of my own childhood.
Season 8 onwards every kid other than Cartman became a boring goody two shoes, Shelly went from bully to a younger Sharon, Liane went from slur to an annoying whiney mom, and the show started doing serious morals.
