Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the most successful manga series of all time, it gets referenced everywhere. Kind of like Ashita no Joe.
Part 1 and 2 are the best, and they're covered in the first season of the anime, part 3 has shit pacing but it's enjoyable. Only these first 3 parts are mandatory. You can also read part 7 which is standalone but inspired by these 3 parts.
