I sat at a bar a while back and watched a girl sit at the bar scrolling IG and Pinterest for like an hour, with one break to go over to the dance floor to look for a way in, stand around for a few moments, and then go back to the bar. Considered asking her to dance, but I don't like dancing, and I can't do anything that isn't abstract or observational anymore, but I can empathize from a distance.
