I had my original Wii Wiimote damaged and scuffed when I let my nephews and niece borrow it, alongside my copy of Twilight Princess. That wasn't damaged, but my Wiimote was. My brother at the time was a fucking mess, high as a kite to cope with his shitty girlfriend who wouldn't let him discipline their kids. He just drank and smoked his way through it, and we had to intervene one night. That same year, I swore off any alcohol, continued to avoid weed and cut soda completely. Sorry for the blogpost, but seeing your post reminded me of that incident.
