I think it was early uma Cygames mishandling her character, like pretty much everyone else. Dasca was also known to be extremely proud and stupid to the point of her general strategy being "BE FAST, NUMBER 1" while Vodka would tend to ponder and think more.
Luckily, JP has been fixing that direction overall.
