Yes, MLB is better than 3LB, no fucking shit, the point is that is 3LB is still very fucking strong and you will still put in on your deck every time, most people won't have any other SSR at that level to be comparable, SR with high LB are still stronger than low LB SSR and by the point they have them at high LB, chances are, they will still use Kitasan 3LB.
Telling people to keep rolling for MLB beyond 200 rolls, when the chances are low, is moronic, more so if they do not have Kita 3LB. Going by chances is just better to roll horses or save, even if there's nothing good on the horizon, is just simple math that you refuse to acknowledge.

A F2Per that starts rolling horses is never going to hit pity on a banner, so I don't know why you keep harping about pity if horses are being pulled. The first pull or 2 pays for itself because of story unlocks, but there is no horse pull that is as good as pulling a 5th kitasan. There is also no banner until kitasan's rerun that is more rewarding than pulling a 5th kitasan. The best 0LB speed cards have less special priority than kitasan GAINS when he upgrades to 5LB.

Accelerating faster means you’ll reach the end of the race faster from the final leg and that’s good, but a 600 speed 1200 power build would be bad because you’d reach your low top speed very fast and would benefit from moving points into speed if that makes sense
It’s not like stamina where having an excess at the end of the race is actually useless and doesn’t contribute except to protect against debuffs
Once you have 1200 speed and enough stamina for the race, power has better returns than wit

That's not quite right.
Stamina is always a priority. You need to hit a minimum stamina threshold or you just lose. Wit is more important on horses where you use skills to shore up a weakness and can help supplement any other stat (especially power and stamina).
Sprint can only have as much speed as power + skills allow due to short acceleration distance.
Mile can actually prioritize more speed than sprint due to longer acceleration distance.
Medium is the most position-dependent, but speed is generally king.
Long is a stamina game with speed for full benefit. Power is usually the deciding factor (only) if everything else is equal.

Even if they get unlucky on this banner, then unlucky again on the rerun, they have the anniversary uncap item as a fallback.

Look up Pace Down in the docs. It's the reason they're not fully wasted, an Uma that gets ahead of where they should be in the pack will slow down a little and consume 40% less stamina for a while. This is why Umas often yoyo where they shoot forward a bit and then fall back a bit repeatedly, they are turning the 40% stam mode on and off.
