Not really. Superman still looked cool and SUPER, he smiled back at people no matter what, he didn't constantly yell at them like some hormonally imbalanced autistic teenager. And even those campy scenes between Clark and Lois or between Lex and Otis were never as silly as Gunn's endless stream of camp.
