Not too difficult id you are using something like fusion360 which is fairly intuitive and tenting is a simple project to nail down. I reccomend getting some cheap calipers though so you can take measurements of your split and make rough approximates of what sizes some of the parts of the tenting you need to be. Don't be afraid to print out drafts either so you can compare them to your split and then make revisions to measurements or shapes for the design.
