I work as an engineer at a shit govt facility, and I ran into an old boss who is interested in me. Is it too early to hop?

I just sat at my cubicle all week and browsed 4chan all day. Am I in the right career? I work with a govt contractor working as an engineer. Is it supposed to be this comfy. I want fully wfh at some point
