>weight ≠ size
Obviously.
>you said "shrunk the chassis by 50%"
Curb your autism. It's a figure of speech anon.
>you think they could put a 760hp supercharged flat plane crank V8 in a cappucino?
Not with a supercharger but you could definitely boost any stout block above 2 quarts that high (or higher).

These 'conglomerate group' managers are so retarded. They don't get the idea that you can have multiple teams with cars in the same segment. And that is is better for quality and cultivating expertise. They have to autistically pigeonhole everything into its own box with no crossover and that just ruins everything (end all zoning laws btw).
You bought the brand in the first place because you were thinking 'by our powers combined we can be even greater', but then you get rid of all the things that made them worth buying to begin with, the things that make a stand-out brand that could stand on its own right. GM dropped the camaro because 'we already have the corvette we dont need any distractions'. Stupid. Well the corvette is a great car that puts everything in the same price range and more than a few things above it to shame too for that matter, but the only thing better than one great car is more than one great car. And this hedges against loss of personnel/institutional knowledge as well. All the great lincoln and pontiac performance badges got dumpstered because of this too.
