>I plan on playing this. Because Im bored and have nothing to do, and realized that what I crave from Tears of the Kingdom, is the little immersive sim problem solving "challenges" the game creates by putting up roadblocks with conflicting conditions to solve. One simple example in TotK, is that in the really hot caves in that Goron Mountain place. You WANT to use bomb arrows to blow up cracked walls and/or just rocks in general that could be hiding loot or access forward. But you cant use fused bomb arrows else you die instantly. You also cant have anything wooden. So you need to rely on blunt weapons, and fused ones. But the cave system can be fairly long, and weapons have durability, so youll run out fairly quickly, so. You either have to be preemptively thoughtful and bring a weapon with boosted durability bonus. Or...you have to make the boosted durability weapon yourself by fusing the right combination of things that give you that boost.

>See how TotK makes such a simple first order interaction, actually have multiple steps to it? This shit is FUNDAMENTALLY shallow. And I mean it. But it doesnt matter, because it is both novel, thoughtful, and makes you engage with almost all the games systems on multiple different fronts and levels.

>I think this is why TotK for me escapes the classic Immersive sim problem of "woooooooow you have so many options...........................................and every single one of them is seperate and so simple that they break the games sense of challenge because you have too many ways to trivialize the same problem with multiple solutions."
