For anyone who cares, by themselves, the Arachnids won by a long shot. Way higher stats and better equipped, all slavemongers got enslaved, save for two that were eaten alive by spiders.
However, they were still raiding my base and running into my wall of turrets to get turned into pincushions. So in the end, it came down to which faction was in my automated defences' kill list.
