Man I regret being so edgey as a kid. The marketing got me. I was a sega kid and you couldn’t convince me mario was cool. Sega had Sonic, Mortal Kombat, Carnage, Turtles, Golden Axe, X Men, ext. Mario was for babies. Cool guys like me only liked comics, ninjas, fantasy warriors, and turtles, and going fast. In retrospect nintendo got some cool fun games and I made more nintendo friends in high school and started playing emulated games. Mario was fun, but Sega was cool as fuck in its day.
