Actually you're wrong. If you own a fixed security camera on your house and as long as it isn't viewing into the home of your neighbor, it can capture the public 24/7 and track every person, dog and car that drives by and that's allowed because the area outside of your house is public. The difference? You don't own 10 houses at 10 different locations.
If you wanted to you could sit on a bench and record with a camera in your hand in perpetuity. You could pay others to do the same at different locations. The only reason you wouldn't is because eventually you'd get tired and go home and you don't have the resources to keep it up. That's it.
It's hilarious that dumb people like you demand freedoms, such as those like being free to record in public, then turn around and REEE when the government goes "aight, bet".
