Nintendo didn't take down shit. The site didn't actually host any games directly, only links to storage sites like Mega or torrents which are hosted by HUNDREDS of people. They can DMCA take down the Storage sites sure but nailing everybody running a torrent would require a different level of legal wrangling.

Sonic stopped when they made Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I don't acknowledge anything after that.
