I play a human because most fantasy races suck ass. Take Baldur's Gate 3 for example.
>Elves: Pointy Eared Humans
>Drow: Purple Elves
>Half-Elf: Who cares
>Dwarf/Halfling/Gnome: Small Humans of varying shittiness
>Half-Orc: Not even full Orc
>Tiefling: Devil, but also just human with horns
>Dragonborn: Scaly human
>Githyanki: Green alien humans with scrunched noses
Where's the Aarakocra or Kenku glass cannon race that lets you fly around the battlefield but if you get hit you go down easy? Where's the Changeling that lets you Disguise Self and be sneaky, but leads to people inherently not trusting you if they find out who you really are? How about Goblins, Undead, Orcs, Centaurs, Tabaxi, Tortles, ANYTHING besides the same races people have been using since Tolkien?
