sure, the borders of this term have become hazy, but it still broadly defines the same thing anybody understands what it's refers to, regardless of political leaning. only when people go anal about some concrete shit it can become a game of telephone.

yeah, I know. I also don't really care. Since everybody also have a gradient range of meaning what it means. /pol/tards use it exactly as nazis used terms like "degenerate art", less extremist people use it for general moral decay. The general moral decay however is a product of the totalitarian mentality - confinement of any idea between what's considered to be promotable (in case of wokeshit - minority/disability/make-it-gay-and-lame/etc) and what's PrOblEmAtIc. For me those things (that "conventionally" define as degenerate) are symptoms of the degeneracy not the cause. I call the cause - the devolvement into a cult-like/party-like structure - degeneracy.
It does not cause any misreadings tho, as long as nobody asks what I actually consider it to be, sine it points in the same direction anyway.
It's like pointing at someone's nose and the person thinking you are pointing at his face - doesn't really change the outcome.
