I do a lot of single arm ohp and my shoulders are a strong point. Some barbell too. Dumbbell=good for side delt, single arm=easier to do heavy.

Haven't done a lateral raise in 6mo+ and they've gotten bigger.

No one who does single arm ohp thinks anything else is better. But few do.
