He's completely right, Isayama just wanted to write a story about somebody destroying world because he thought it would be a cool dark power fantasy idea but then he decided to be dishonest around the reasons of wanting to tell that story and tried to frame it around some poorly thought out lenature of humanity message. The result was some near nonsensical character logic, reasoning and honestly terrible ending that was a completely stain on the whole thing
He should have just be straight up with his storytelling instead of giving everything 5 layers of convoluted complexity to try and hide the lack of coherence between the world and his characters
