>if patrick wins, it's basically the same outcome as spongebob except he's a NEET big pink loser who would probably crack at not being able to see his best friend active again
>if plankton wins, sure krabs can still go toe to toe with him (depending on if the business doesn't die then and there, the show goes back and forth on if spongebob is the only thing keeping it afloat or not) but if krabs has an off day, spongebob isn't there as secondary defense so then basically the movie would happen where he'd start taking over and squidward probably wouldn't give a shit or only start once it's too late
even once you know the twist it's still a bit fucked to think about since again, the entire game is just gary having a nightmare fever dream due to both his owner getting eaten by an alaskan bullworm and krabby patties also causing them to the point the dream ends up having the patty as both the antagonist and the catalyst for him to finally wake up. makes alaskan belly trouble a bit more sad too since the entire stage is him recollecting the final moments and having a hopeful tale of spongebob getting out alive when in reality he's probably never getting out.
