There was a supporting character in the GL book back in the 80s called Arisia Rrab. She initially was conceived of being 13 years old, and she falls in love with Hal, who reciprocates and they dated and had sex for quite a while. She did 'age' herself up using the ring, or at least gave herself an adult body, but yeah.

They tried passing this off with tons of excuses/retcons like Hal being mind controlled, Arisia being actually 240 years old by Earth years, etc. but like the Pym slap it'll never be forgotten about
