I think being born is absolutely horrific and I find this world to be a moral outrage. It's terrifying and disgusting and I'm really scared. I also think my parents are criminals for having created me, as this body, with its constant needs and pains and endless struggle with a KNOWN end, where I'm going to die. Something which rationally I think would benefit me. But irrationally I'm the product of billions of years of existence bias so it terrifies me instead. There is no good option here. We are in hell. Struggle on then due anyway. Or commit lethal self harm and die now.
And what's so great of this world? Have you been in love and felt what it's like to lose that? Or to feel grief at the loss of a loved one, or a pet, or been through some horrific trauma or illness?
There's nothing to do. I just don't have kids myself and try suffer as little as possible. These are my genuine thoughts. If it were within my power I'd turn the earth as lifeless as the moon. Because the unimaginable suffering here can never be made worth it. This existence is a deficit at the very least the losses should be cut. But it's like we all have a case of the gamblers fallacy. The next roll the next dice the next week the next bla bla just around the corner any day now! If I just do or say or be or get xyz it'll all be worth it!
It won't be. And in the process all you've done is prolong your misery and set yourself up for harsher disappointment.
