No, and it never will because Kubo is a hack who introduces plot points only for momentary gratification to impress the gullible reader (hyping up the new bad guys, or a new power) and then either forgets about them or retcons them when he remembers they conflict with something else.
Also I'm pretty sure the maximalist interpretation is 20, coming from that chapter where Aizen talks about Ulquiorra's and Yammy's "20 brothers" and we see Arrancar that are never seen let alone brought up again, like this fat fucker. It's clear Kubo was writing as he went along, and while only haters say that he completely pulled stuff out his ass with no setup, the bootlickers who claim he made no mistakes or planned everything from chapter 1 are utterly delusional.
