Has anyone else taken their car here? I dropped off my '85 Chevalier Dart twelve years ago and they still haven't finished working on it. They swapped out so many parts that I couldn't recognize it anymore when all I wanted was a functional engine, which they somehow never touched.

For a while I'd get a lot of excuses about shop accidents unraveling progress or being sidetracked integrating a "cool" new body mod instead of doing what we agreed on, but now nobody will return my calls. It's frustrating because even if I cut my losses without a lawsuit and move on, I'll have to admit to myself I got conned and feel dumb.

I guess you just don't expect to get ripped off by the small town guys like you do shady corporations.
