Because anon, with this game? They realized >THE DREAM of the modern game developer: a successful live service. A new game, any kind of new videogame is a risk, a bet, one that takes several years and thousands of hours of development that may go straight to the bin. With a live service game? Infinite cheat money enabled. As long as they don't fuck up (and they already fucked it up way, wayyyyyyyyy worse than almost any other gacha or normie videogame you can think of with the bughellfiesta that was it's opening month) this game will be fine for several years to come. They don't have competition of any kind in the gacha market. And if there was to be one, it's still several years away in the making (and even so, they wouldn't be named Wizardry which makes long dead ojisan chinkos resurrect with passionate rage)
