allow me to coach my relatively progressive viewpoint in chud terminology so its more palatable for all of you:
a huge number of what we consider "otaku"/ people into "nerd culture" like video games and anime have some gay shit going on, repressed or not. a lot of the hate for fags and troons probably comes from projection.
why do you think the anime community has become overrun with troons? because a large portion of anime fans were already troons from the beginning. its probably the gender dysphoria/repression that caused them to turn inward to "childish nerd hobbies" like video games and anime in the first place. they aren't troons because of anime (although i do think that plays a part, watching nothing but moeshit is a recipe for AGP), they are anime fans because they're troons
