Some people just get angry at them because they suck and so they take it out on the support for not helping them boost their ego.
I'm usually mean to support players cause I play every role and just like to play fun characters/classes and from all my experience supports tend to be some of the worse people. Most incompetent, most insufferable, most annoying, prone to tantrums, demanding of attention and validation, most controlling. They're all of that while often having the easiest classes in the game. I've come to hate them over the years of playing tank, dps, and support across games.
Tanks can be some of the more arrogant assholes and dps are the biggest spergs but I have a good history of getting them in line by pointing things out and chewing them out, healers though, you can be so patient with them and they will still throw tantrums. My brother, who's a healer main, I think hates them more then me cause he has to deal with them the most often.
