>The actual endgame being resource collection is kinda ass so I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to bother, but I will say your specific concerns aren't really real and seem to be made of other people's public complaints reddit complaints. I think you should make some plastone and go build a small base out on a D or E pve island and try to actually play / interact with people before writing it off. Worst case scenario your apprehensions were right and you stop playing anyway.
