I think Nintendo might be trying to do "movie games" like Xbox and PlayStation, but instead of them being medieval fantasy or sci-fi movies, they are animated Disney musical movies, at least when it comes to Donkey Kong Bananza.
I think it started with Zelda BOTW and TOTK, and now Super Mario and Donkey Kong are getting that treatment.
