Some loose examples of the S.O.S. Commandos.
I always find it funny that they made an African variant of Schwarzenegger/Matrix (renamed Cronos in this line). Later on they even added an arab, complete with turban, to the toyline.
Throughout the early years the figures would come packaged with minicomics but I cant add much there since scans are hard to come across online. Subsequent releases would drop this, as well as the card art stolen from the 1988 Italian film "Fists of Steel" overtime. Later "wave" would adopt more generically militaristic packaging. Most of which tried to keep up with the times by featuring 3D renders of the characters along with action movie styled fonts.
Also worthing mentioning the S.O.S. Commandos, because of itheir cheaper price point, came to outsell FalCon (A.K.A. GiJoe) in the Brazillian market.
