Obsessive autistic Mesoamerican history anon: Me and my fellow nerds came across the Cathay discourse and we got curious about how Warhammer handled the Lizardmen over time.

Where can I find high resolution scans of the 5th edition army book for Lizardmen? "Warhammer Armies Lizardmen"?

Also, whatever book this third edition(?) thing comes from. Or maybe this is the back of a box? If so a collection of high quality scans of all the Lizardmen box/packaging stuff that was produced in this line/edition/whatever

While I sympathize with finding it annoying when people whine about cultural sensitivity over minor bullshit like was the case for tons of pop culture discourse between 2012 and 2018, I generally find it to be less asinine with how it's handled these days, which tends to be benign, result in legitimately better researched designs, or ends up being tootheless lip service anyways

I certainly wish the Lizardmen were handled with more research (but specific figures in the stuff I'm asking about above seems less bad then the other editions, hence me wanting higher quality images of them), though they'd probably have ended up as an entirely different sort of faction then: Even Mossacannibalis's recent Lizardmen concepts which adds more actual Mesoamerican elements still is somewhat constrained by having to make stuff look tribalistic to fit into the vibes they have within Warhammer, rather then the sort of refined pristine aesthetics Mesoamerican civilizations actually had.

I still think more actual Mesoamerican aesthetics could still synergize with lizard people, but it would have a very different kind of flavor to it, for sure.
