Nope, I'd had the impression that Gleiwitz was known by Allies during WW2, so I thought I'd do my History class extra credit on the "story behind the story"....how did it leak out it was a false flag, given the area was under Nazi control until at least Feb 1945. Did some reporter uncover it from behind German lines in 1939? Allied Code Crackers but wouldn't they not let on they knew to keep code cracking secret???

Its a really amazing story! :) Names, dates, facts, figures, locations, every base covered. The greatest "palace intrigue" in human history. Better than any James Bond novel. But somehow, none of can be confirmed it ALL comes from one guy's supported testimony.
