I wanted to do an overhaul server on SS14. When I saw how deranged the devs were and that they controlled the hub I knew it was a bad idea. Turned out I was right and they are banning even direct connecting to servers they have beef with. Why risk putting in all that effort when I know it can all go away at the whims of some insecure authority monster? At least the 4chan and Kiwi servers let you play the fucking game without having to worry about whether or not you pissed off someone who is friends with an admin.
