155 - Find the Light
Kotoha is obsessively prepping for what she calls a date with P. After she leaves for the meetup location, Takane, Serika, Yuriko, and Tsumugi come into the room and talk about how happy she looks. P then also comes in as he has a bit of work to do, but the other idols tell him to focus on the date and just go now. They hope it goes well, as Yuriko starts imagining the DATE.
P then meets up with Kotoha to go see a stage play together. As for why this is happening, we flash back to several weeks before, prior to a meeting about the upcoming Theater performance.
P has news that Kotoha has received an offer to be part of the main cast for a morning serialized drama as the child of the main character. She happily accepts this as the other idols encourage her.
A few weeks after that, Kotoha is a the cast announcement press event as she marvels at all the veterans and becomes very nervous. As she tries to ask for advice from the lead actor Akiyo, she's coldly brushed off as someone who only got the role because she's an idol and only has to look cute as nobody expects anything from her acting skills.
During the car ride back, P can tell something is up, but Kotoha won't say anything, so he decides to keep an eye on things. The next day, the other idols can also tell something's wrong and Kotoha tells them about what happened. Tsumugi of all people recommends talking with P about it, and the others agree.
A few days later, Akiyo asks why Kotoha is so earnestly practicing her lines, and she responds that she likes acting and wants to prove that she was the right choice for this role, even if the reason for her being chosen may have been different. Akiyo then asks why she doesn't just quit being an idol and become an actor then if she likes it so much. This ends up affecting her performance at rehearsals afterward as she makes mistakes.
