LOM might be one of the all-time greatest disparities between how a game looked and how it played. 10/10 aesthetic wasted on 4/10 gameplay. Holy shit this game was repetitive, monotonous and obtuse.
At least the remaster let you skip the random battles so you could wander in circles and try to figure out what the everloving fuck you were supposed to do without having to fight 100 pointless battles that weren't remotely fun or challenging.

It was probably the easiest way to cut corners at the end of development. You have to have the story sections and all the game areas where the story sections take place but if you're short on time just never making the final models for some of the unique monsters is one thing you can get away with. People will notice the lack of variety but it's not glaringly obvious that something's actually missing.
Those incredibly lame superbosses in particular reek of "we don't have time to make actual additional content so we just tweaked the stats of something that we'd already finished."

Plebs will show for JP movies even if they suck, that's why there's like 12 of them.
Superman, like all post-Reeve Superman movies apparently must, is carrying the weight of all the failed projects preceding it. DC bitterly divided its own fanbase in a failed attempt to become the MCU mid-stream and their solution is to rush another cinematic universe out the door five seconds after the last DCEU movie bombed, helmed by a guy poached from the MCU. Meanwhile, Cavill is making guest appearances in MCU movies openly mocking their poor treatment of his Superman. Even if people like Gunn, a healthy dose of skepticism is justified.
FF is DOA because Marvel just help getting cute when they should play it straight. Cast the wrong guy as Reed because god forbid you just cast a fucking white guy, went with femsurfer for no real reason aside from contrarian faggotry, completely wasted Doom by sacrificing the character for the sake of bringing RDJ back in a role he's not right for...they just keep getting shit wrong post-endgame and everybody's kind of sick of the whole genre. They need to get it right to regain consumer confidence and instead they announce they're getting it wrong before the first trailer even hits. REED IS NOT A FUKCING SOUTH AMERICAN THE SURFER DOES NOT HAVE HAIR AND DOOM DOES NOT TAKE HIS MASK OFF. EVER. FUCK YOU DISNEY
