>schools - have to stick to national curriculum so requisite "le white man = bad". Don't move to one of the new suburbs - you'll get a school in about 5 yrs.
>shops - every fucking shop (including igas) has adopted self serve. Gud for nicking the odd thing but if you can afford $400 for a weekly shop expect to wait. Awhile. Trend bucker = Spud Shed - Tony Galati made them 24hrs so @ 0300 you can play bulk pork ribs and bread roll cricket in any fucking aisle you like!
>bars/nightlife - Northbridge is a hipster shithole. Finding a decent local is hard. Most pubs have been "done up" which means not only more expensive but no olde school skimpy's or counter meals.
>roads - freeway: carpark from about 0630-0930, 1430-1830. Otherwise fine. Same with most highways and major arterials.
>public transport - peak hour not too bad. Crowded as expected and many jeets/chinks but surprisingly white and well mannered. Boongs getting chased by transits for... well being boongs is entertainment. Ocassionally street kids turn up doof doof and most adults happy to tell them to turn that shit off.
>beaches/nature - the saving fucking grace. Real surf and real bush within halfa to and hour's drive. There's a reason all our killers choses shallow bush graves...
