Because the way things are going that needs to happen or Pomni is doomed to become worse, and a lot of people don't want to see that. Especially after two years of Goose going "OMG JAX'S A BAD PERSON GUYS!!!". If this is all leading to "the selfish assholes you can't escape are right, actually" it's gonna be a real bummer desu.
