8 is a shitty version of 4. They literally have all the aspects of 4 but failed at ever single one of them. I sure love the long ass opening that even with skips takes forever, I sure love the atrocious audio design where all the weapons sound like plastic toys, I love enemies not reacting to getting shot 90% of the time, I love the 20 min unskippable walking section that is house beneviento, I love that new weapons are an immediate upgrade over the previous ones making the previous ones fucking useless, I sure love playing a game with literally 0 gameplay mechanics. The melee in 4 is simple but it also adds a lot of fun to the gameplay. 8's "gameplay" is shooting enemies, which don't react to getting shot, with weapons that have no feedback and all have awful audio.
