>>713351282>No, I'm not trying again. Then there's nothing to argue. I said to find a longplay that wasn't a guide, you said okay and then showed one that was explicitly a guide. Now you're mad that I pointed out you didn't do what you said you can do.
>Now, is this true for initial playthroughs?Which is exactly what we're talking about. On an initial playthrough the first actual enemy you fight is almost 3 hours into the game.
>but almost no one judges RE games based on fresh playthroughs.Wrong. Initial playthrough is the single most important playtrhough, and then repeat playthroughs all taken together are arguably as important as the initial playthrough. 7 is literally the worst game in the series for repeat playthroughs as it's designed around linear, cinematic scripted setpieces instead of being a replayable game. About a third of the game is the completely on rails intro, and then the last third of the game is the completely on rails Mia section/ending shooting gallery in the mines. Even if you want to pretend the middle section is good (it's not), then you still have a game where only a small fraction of it is even remotely geared towards multiple playthroughs. That's fucking terrible for an RE game, and a big part of why 7 is trash for retards.
